TAG!! I'M IT!!

Apparently I've been tagged a couple of times. Shows that I haven't been on here for a while. Let's see what I can come up with...

RULES:

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags other people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1) I get bored really easily. My cousin cuts my hair and I swear I have her change it every other time I go in. Also, I have to eat a little of a lot of things or else I get bored and stop eating. I know...I'm Crazy!

2) I am training for a Triathalon. Again...I know!! I'M CRAZY!! I can't swim, I don't have a street bike, and I can't run from my front door down my driveway without passing out. (And again the eating thing, not so good here) But hey...What's all that got to do with it anyway? It's not until July 2008!! I've got plenty of time!! Right??

3) I am scared (or I should say...used to be scared) of playing games. They terrified me. I still don't like the ones where you have to act or draw or make things with clay, but I have learned that there are tons of games out there that I do love. I even have game nights at my house now! That's actually the best place, cuz then I know I like all the games. If it's not at my house, undoubtedly I am placed in the awkward situation of everyone wanting to play Cranium and me wanting to hyperventalate and crawl in a hole. But I'm getting better everyday. I played WII the other day...In front of people!!!

4) I went skydiving!! It was awesome. If anyone is thinking it takes your stomach away or you feel like you're dropping on a rollercoaster or an elevator, they are wrong. It doesn't feel like that at all. It feels like you're floating or flying. It's pretty cool, and the landing....so easy!! Everyone should try it once.

5) I tie my drinking straw wrappers in a knot and pull hard until they break and if the knot pops open, I honestly and truely believe someone is thinking about me. haha Even if nobody is, when that knot pops open and you think someone is, your day just goes so much better. There's nothing wrong with believing, right?

6) And last, but certainly not least! Another quirk that some like and others hate...
If I see you driving by me or past me or next to me and I have your cell phone number, I will most likely call you and say "Peek-a-boo I see you". I know it's corney and probably immature, but isn't it nice to know that someone knows you and knows your car enough to recognize you driving by? And I don't just like to see someone and say to myself...Hey, theres so and so...No...I call them myself and say I saw you. Even if I drive by someones work and see there car, I'd probably call them and tell them I see them.

Ok...Now that you all know I'm a nutcase. I hope you will still love me just the same! haha And now for the Tag...
Katie, Beckie, Heather, and Rachel... TAG YOU'RE IT!!!

Crazy Saturday!

I thought the song went "Saturday, is a special day". Nope...I found out yesterday it actually goes like this...
"Saturday, is a CRAZY DAY"!!

It started off peacefully, then ERRR ERRR EERRRR....There goes the alarm. An alarm on Saturday, you say??
I know!!! But, they made me!!!
I started out at "Soup"-er Saturday for my ward. It actually was very fun. They had a lot of great activities to do. Here is a picture of what I accomplished while there.

Can you believe I made that? I slaved for hours...letter by letter. Ok, Actually, lucky for me, the whole saying came on one piece of paper and I adhered it all at the same time. Except for the corners. I did those, one at a time. Not bad, eh? I love the saying on it. It's great! I'm not exactly sure where I can put it yet, since it's pretty big, but I'll find somewhere.
Next, I went to a wedding of a friend from work. You couldn't have asked for a better, more beautiful day! Blue sky, very sunny, and warm. You couldn't get a better day in November if you'd planned it yourself.

She looked beautiful!

Her dress was very pretty, and I especially loved the lacing in the back.

Her daughter was the flower girl...

Her Brother "gave her away" (walked her down the isle in this case).

And this guy is the happy groom (still checking out his ring in total excitement that he got such a great girl! haha)
You couldn't have wiped the smile off of his face if you wanted too.

She was so excited to see everyone.

Especially her friends from the office of course...

They don't always have branches coming out of their heads. They just do that on very special occasions, such as this beautiful wedding.

My apologies to those I did not get on film...She was still excited to see them as well.
I was very happy to be a part of this beautiful day with her and her friends and family. It was great!
And last, but certainly not least! I helped throw a Baby Shower for my good friend Marlyse.
It turned out very fun. There was a good turnout of family and friends, great bridal showere games, and VERY good food!! :)
We played a game where you have a list of animals and you have to guess what they're babies names are! And then we did a Candybar game where you name something that has to do with the pregnancy, and you have a bunch of candybars. You choose a candybar that you think goes along with that part of the pregnancy experience...
For example...
Umbilical Chord .... Twizzlers
Postpartum Stomach... Jelly Bellys! (haha that was my favorite)
Hospital Bills...$100 Grand
Well, you get the idea. It was actually VERY funny listening to everyone trying to decide which candybar/candy went with which item.
We also ate, and opened gifts as well. It was a lot of fun.
(I'll have to post pictures later for this one...I keep getting errors)
